The wait is finally over - round one of Super Rugby Pacific 2023 is here.
The action kicks off on Friday night when defending champions the Crusaders host the Chiefs in Christchurch. The competition opener is followed by a blockbuster Australian tussle between the Waratahs and ACT Brumbies at the brand-new Allianz Stadium in Sydney.
Four massive games take place on Saturday with Moana Pasifika hosting the Fijian Drua at Mount Smart Stadium in a game dubbed ‘the battle of the Pacific’. Next up, the Highlanders host the Blues under the roof in Dunedin.
The final two games of the round are on Australian soil with the Reds laying out the welcome mat to the Hurricanes in Townsville and the Western Force taking on the Melbourne Rebels in Perth.
