Round 5 is Kids Round and clubs have a variety of offers in place for matches.

Super Rugby Pacific will celebrate the next generation of players and fans during Kids Round this weekend with free tickets and giveaways making it easier than ever for families to be part of the action.

Thousands of free tickets for kids will be made available across the Hurricanes, Fijian Drua, Chiefs and Blues home matches* during Round 5 of the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season (22 – 23 March).

Meanwhile the first 1500 kids through the gates at HBF Park for the Western Force’s showdown with the QLD Reds will receive a $20 food and beverage voucher to spend at the game.

The Brumbies are building a dedicated Kids Zone at GIO Stadium for their clash with Moana Pasifika, where children of all ages can participate in mini games and meet some of their favourite Brumbies players.

Across the competition, Super Rugby clubs will be putting on special activities, entertainment and engagement opportunities so young fans can get up and close with their heroes and experience the fun and thrill of a night out with their families. More information on each team’s activities will be shared on their social media channels this week.

Super Rugby Pacific Chair, Kevin Malloy, said: “It’s great to be able to inspire the next generation to support their Super Rugby team through free tickets, at-match entertainment and in broadcast activity. Kids Round provides kids and their families with the option of an entertaining afternoon or evening out at the rugby.”

Kids Round kicks off on Friday 22 March as the Hurricanes host the Melbourne Rebels at Central Energy Trust Arena in Palmerston North, followed by the Brumbies taking on Moana Pasifika in Canberra. On Saturday 23 March the Drua welcome the Waratahs to Churchill Park in Fiji and the Chiefs tackle the Highlanders at FMG Stadium Waikato. The first 1,000 kids tickets sold to the Hurricanes and Chiefs home games will be free*, along with 500 at the Drua home game.

A Saturday evening blockbuster will see New Zealand rivalries ignite as the Blues go up against the Crusaders at Eden Park. The first 500 kids tickets sold will be free when accompanying an adult on a General Admission ticket.

Kids Round comes to a close with the Force facing the Reds in Perth, where every kid can go home with a belly full of free footy food.
