After a pulsating opening round which began with the debut of Fijian Drua in Super Rugby and ended with a last gasp win by the Brumbies over the Force, Super Rugby Pacific returns on Friday night with a huge clash between South Island rivals the Crusaders and Highlanders in Dunedin.

The action heats up even more on Friday night when traditional rivals the NSW Waratahs and Queensland Reds clash in Sydney. The Reds have had the edge in recent times but the ‘Tahs will be buoyed by their 40-10 round one victory over the Drua and are currently sitting pretty at the top of the standings.

Saturday kicks off with the Brumbies hosting the Fijian Drua in Canberra. Expect a fast-paced game with the Brumbies coming off the back of a four-try win over the Force and the Drua showing plenty of attacking potential in their opening clash against the Waratahs.

All eyes will be on Dunedin at 7.05pm NZT on Saturday night as former NRL star Roger Tuivasa-Sheck makes his highly anticipated Super Rugby debut against the Hurricanes.

Round two is capped off with a clash between the Melbourne Rebels and Western Force at AAMI Park with the winner of the match set to make a big leap up the competition ladder.
