The referee appointments for Round #1 of the 2019 Super Rugby season are now confirmed.
The 2019 season kicks-off with a full seven-match round. It starts on Friday night with two matches: Glen Jackson has the whistle for the opening match of the season in Hamilton when the Chiefs host the Highlanders. Ben O'Keeffe will be in Canberra to referee the Australian Conference derby between the Brumbies and Rebels.
On Saturday the pick of the action is the the New Zealand Conference derby between the Blues and Crusaders in Auckland where Nick Briant is the referee. Angus Gardner will be in Sydney where the Waratahs host the Hurricanes at Brookvale Oval. Mike Fraser get the whistle in Buenos Aires where the Jaguares take on the Lions from South Africa.
