What to expect on this epic weekend of Super Rugby

Head to The Terrace by the Bridge of Remembrance for the Super Round Live Site, with every match on the big screen and all 10 teams appearing across the weekend for signing sessions.

Super Rugby legend Dan Carter will also appear on Sunday in collaboration with UNICEF Aotearoa, raising awareness and donations through his DC10 Fund to improve access to clean water for children in the Pacific Islands, through exciting half-time activations. Fans will have the chance to join Carter in a skills challenge, attempting to kick a rugby ball through inflatable posts into a giant bucket, with every successful kick triggering donations and contributing to the cause.
Live site: The Live Site is located on The Terrace next to the Bridge of Remembrance.
All games will be broadcast live on the big screen at the Live Site and each of the 10 teams will visit the Live Site across the weekend for signing sessions.
Fans are encouraged to come along and meet their heroes before the games kick off, as it is only a short walk (along the fan trail) from the stadium. Capacity at the Live Site is limited.

Fan trail:
The fan trail will connect the Live Site to One NZ Stadium running from the Bridge of Remembrance straight down Cashel Street, which is approximately an 8-minute walk.
The Fan trail will be open two hours before the first kick off of each day, with performers lining the streets and bringing the energy as fans make their way to One New Zealand Stadium and brings together live music, street performances, cultural showcases, markets, and interactive activities.
Even if you are not attending the rugby, there will be plenty to see and do, so head into the city and be part of the atmosphere over this exciting weekend.

How do I buy tickets?
Both general admission and hospitality tickets are available via ticketmaster.

When will I be able to access my tickets?
At present, tickets are visible in the Ticketmaster app; however, the event barcode will not display until suppression has been lifted. Once enabled, the barcode will appear automatically in your Ticketmaster account.
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?
Yes, once ticket suppression has been lifted and tickets are in your Ticketmaster account, tickets can be easily transferred to friends or family through your Ticketmaster account:
The recipient will receive a notification to accept the tickets. Once accepted, the tickets will appear in their Ticketmaster account.
Will there be pass-outs or re-entry at Super Round?
To help keep everyone safe and ensure a smooth event experience, pass-outs will not be available. Once you leave the venue, re-entry will not be permitted. We recommend planning ahead to make the most of your time inside the venue.
How do I arrange a refund? What is your refund policy?

The stadium is located between Madras Street, Hereford Street, Barbados Street and Tuam Street.
Traffic congestion can be heavy, especially during peak times so always allow more time than you expect to get to and from the venue – aiming to arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the event.
On foot
The stadium is centrally located in Christchurch, just 400 metres from the public Bus Interchange and an 8-minute walk from The Terrace.
There are pedestrian walkways throughout the Stadium precinct connecting to all streets. The entrances to One NZ Stadium are via Barbadoes Street, Tuam Street, Madras Street and Hereford Street.
How can I take a bus to the stadium?
Event Direct by Metro is Christchurch’s new pre‑booked shuttle service designed specifically for major events at One New Zealand Stadium. It provides a reliable, direct transport option for fans attending large events such as Super Round. The booking system will be live by early April.
There will be 11 well-known, accessible pickup points across Christchurch. The buses will go directly to Latimer Square and Ara on Ferry Road, with the return journey departing from the same locations. These locations are both about a block from the stadium.
Metro will run all standard bus routes on normal timetables throughout Super Round weekend.
The Bus Interchange is located 400 metres from the stadium.
Can I bike or scooter to the stadium?
Yes. Bike racks are available in the stadium precinct. E-scooter providers Flamingo and Lime are available in the city for short commutes to and from the stadium.
Will taxis and rideshares be able to get to the stadium?
Taxis and rideshare vehicles will drop off and pick up at designated zones on Lichfield St just east of the stadium.
Can I drive my car to the stadium?
We encourage fans to travel to the stadium on foot or by public transport. There is no onsite parking at the stadium and the roads immediately surrounding it will be closed, with the exception of a section of Hereford St to allow drop-offs at the north entrance and to access pre-booked accessible parking at the stadium.

During Super Round, fans can expect congestion in the surrounding streets and carparks to be high.

There are five accessible entry routes that lead directly into the stadium.
Entrances include wide gates, smooth surfaces, and barrier-free access for wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility scooters.

What items are prohibited?
You may bring with you a personal compact or phone camera, and homemade food items for personal consumption e.g. sandwiches.
Can I bring bags/backpacks?
Bags must be 30cm x 30cm or under to enter the venue.
Will there be security checks?
There will be bag checks at the gates.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Official merchandise will be available at multiple locations around the stadium across the weekend.
There will be four merchandise outlets in total:
The Lancaster Pad will be the main merchandise hub, stocking kit from all five New Zealand clubs for the full duration of the event.
The remaining three locations will offer a more limited range, stocking merchandise for the home teams playing on that specific day only.
Please note that only New Zealand team merchandise will be available on-site. If you are travelling to support an international team, we recommend purchasing your team’s kit in advance if you’d like to wear your colours.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
Homemade food items for personal consumption e.g. sandwiches are permitted. Bottles or drink containers of any size (excluding baby bottles) are not permitted.
Commercial food e.g. fish and chips, Subway, McDonalds, etc are not permitted.
Are there first aid services on site?
All the venue first aid rooms will be operational and there will be roaming St John staff.
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes. There are three parents rooms on Level 1.
