The stadium is located between Madras Street, Hereford Street, Barbados Street and Tuam Street.
Traffic congestion can be heavy, especially during peak times so always allow more time than you expect to get to and from the venue – aiming to arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the event.
On foot
The stadium is centrally located in Christchurch, just 400 metres from the public Bus Interchange and an 8-minute walk from The Terrace.
There are pedestrian walkways throughout the Stadium precinct connecting to all streets. The entrances to One NZ Stadium are via Barbadoes Street, Tuam Street, Madras Street and Hereford Street.
How can I take a bus to the stadium?
Event Direct by Metro is Christchurch’s new pre‑booked shuttle service designed specifically for major events at One New Zealand Stadium. It provides a reliable, direct transport option for fans attending large events such as Super Round. The booking system will be live by early April.
There will be 11 well-known, accessible pickup points across Christchurch. The buses will go directly to Latimer Square and Ara on Ferry Road, with the return journey departing from the same locations. These locations are both about a block from the stadium.
Metro will run all standard bus routes on normal timetables throughout Super Round weekend.
The Bus Interchange is located 400 metres from the stadium.

During Super Round, fans can expect congestion in the surrounding streets and carparks to be high.

There are five accessible entry routes that lead directly into the stadium.
