The referee appointments for Round #2 of the 2020 Super Rugby season are now confirmed.
The seven-match Round 2 kicks-off in Dunedin where Angus Gardner will be in charge of the Highlanders first match of the season against the Sharks from Durban. The same evening Nic Berry gets his first match in charge this year and will be in Canberra taking charge of the Brumbies versus Rebels Australian derby.
There are five matches on Saturday with proceedings starting in Hamilton with the clash of the round between the Chiefs and Crusaders - the Kiwi derby sees top coaches Warren Gatland and Scott Robertson go head-to-head. Ben O'Keeffe has the whistle while AJ Jacobs will be in Newcastle in New South Wales for the Waratahs versus Blues match. Jaco Peyper will head to Johannesburg to take charge of the Lions versus Reds clash while fellow South African Marius van der Westhuizen takes charge in Cape Town where the Stormers face the Bulls.
The weekend again closes in Buenos Aires where the Jaguares, fresh from big home win in Round #1, take on the Hurricanes at Amalfitani Stadium. Referee Rasta Rasivhenge backs up from last weeks game in Buenos Aires.
